ITINERARY DESCRIPTION
Places Visited: San Jose, Arenal Volcano National Park area, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, Guanacaste Beaches
10 DAYS – 9 NIGHTS:

Day 01: ARRIVE
Arrive at the International Airport Juan Santamaria in San José, where you will be met at the exit gate. Transfer in to selected hotel. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 02: SAN JOSE – ARENAL
After breakfast, transfer to the Arenal Volcano National Park area (approximate time 3 ½ hours). Rest of the day free to explore the area on your own, day tours available. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 03: AT ARENAL
Full day on your own to select the activity you are most interested in, day tours available. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 04: ARENAL – MONTEVERDE
After breakfast, transfer to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve area (approximate time 4 hours). Rest of the day free to explore the area on your own, day tours available. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 05: AT MONTEVERDE
Full day on your own to select the activity you are most interested in, day tours available. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 06: MONTEVERDE – GUANACASTE
After breakfast, transfer to the Guanacaste area (approximate driving time 4 ½ hours). Rest of the day free to explore the area on your own, day tours available. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 07: DAY AT GUANACASTE
Full day on your own. Choose from optional day tours or simply relax at the hotel and the beach. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 08: DAY AT GUANACASTE
Full day on your own. Choose from optional day tours or simply relax at the hotel and the beach. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 09: GUANACASTE – SAN JOSE
After lunch on your own, drive back to San Jose (approximate driving time 5 ½ hours). Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 10: TRANSFER OUT
Approximately 3 hours prior to your flight's scheduled departure time, you need to be at the airport.
